Barrettes

Note: The information included below is only intended to describe US accessories. I may include information about certain non-US items if I have it; however, assume all the information below refers only to the US accessories unless otherwise specified.

Bird and Lily Barrettes
The bird + lily barrettes came with the Dance 'n Prance ponies, some Perfume Puff ponies, the Trim 'n Grow Beauties, and the Birds and Flowers Pretty Ups.

There is conflicting information about Lavender Lace's and Red Rose's barrettes. One of them came with the aqua bird and lily barrette and one came with the yellow lilies barrette, but I'm not positive which came with which. DJ's and (what I believe is) Manewaves' barrettes are very similar in shade, but DJ's is a little pinker and Manewaves' is a little purpler. And the purple barrettes that came with Sweet Suds and Birds + Flowers have just a very small difference in shade. The information on the Trim 'n Grow Beauties' barrettes is borrowed from Dream Valley, since the ponies (let alone their accessories) are so htf.

Candy Barrettes
The candy barrettes came with the Sundae Best and Candy Cane ponies.

I'm not 100% certain about whom the sundae barrettes go to. While Molasses and Sugar Apple both had pink barrettes, I don't know for certain which pony came with which. And Sherbet did come with the regular yellow barrette, but I haven't confirmed if Peppermint Crunch definitely came with the lighter yellow barrette. The colors on the sundae barrettes are very similar, but the light pink barrette is slightly lighter than the regular pink barrette and the light yellow barrette is noticeably glossy looking.

Crown Barrettes
The crown barrettes came with the second year Princess Ponies.

Flower Barrettes
The flower barrettes came with the Sweetsteps Ballerina ponies and the Prom Queen Sweetheart Sisters.

I have seen MOC Sweet Sundrops with both aqua and peach barrettes.

Frilly Hearts Barrettes
The frilly hearts barrettes came with the Brush 'n Grow ponies, Shimmering Beauties, Rainbow Beauties, and Sweet Perfume Beauties.

"I Luv You" Barrettes
The ILU barrettes came with the Princess Brush 'n Grow ponies, the Showtime Dream Beauties, the Ribbons + Lace Pretty Ups, the Poof 'n Puff Perfume Palace, Rapunzel, the European Loving Family baby sisters and possibly some other pony sets.

There are two ILU barrettes I have been unable to identify. They are very similar to Rapunzel's barrettes; however, as far as I can tell, Rapunzel's bluish barrette has a more greenish tinge to it and her pink barrette is more of hot, bright pink. But if these two barrettes don't go to Rapunzel I have no idea what pony(s) they might have gone to. All the other ponies who came with ILU barrettes that I know of clearly came with pastel colored barrettes. Several ponies came with similar shades of pink, green and blue ILU barrettes. I have only pictured the barrettes I have in hand, though, as there might be slight shade differences between some of the similar barrettes. The information on the Showtime Beauties barrettes is borrowed from Dream Valley, since the ponies (let alone their accessories) are so htf.

Lilies Barrettes
The lilies barrettes came with the Perfume Puff Ponies, the Birds and Flowers Pretty Ups, the High Flying Dream Beauties, and the Shimmering Dream Beauties.

According to The My Little Pony Ordeal, the Princess Baby Buggy was released with three different shades of shooting star barrettes: dark pink, dark purple + lilac. I received a light purple barrette identical to Bouquet's with a complete Princess Baby Buggy (and the shade of purple matches MIP photos of PBB accessories I've seen). That makes me wonder if Brush 'n Grow barrettes were recycled for the PBB. Its dark purple barrette might be identical to Curly Locks'. The pink barrette pictured on the My Little Pony Ordeal, though, looks lighter than Ringlet's barrette. I've also found another pinkish-purple barrette that looks very much like the shade of pink barrette I've seen in MIP photos of PBB accessories. However, it didn't come with a Princess Baby Buggy set so it's just a guess that it's the PBB shade of pink barrette. The information on the Dream Beauties' barrettes is borrowed from Dream Valley, since the ponies (let alone their accessories) are so htf.
